Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur and serves as the Chairman of VaynerX, the CEO of VaynerMedia, and the Creator & CEO of VeeFriends. Gary is considered one of the leading global minds on what’s next in culture, business, and the internet.

Known as “GaryVee,” he is described as one of the most forward thinkers in business. He acutely recognizes trends and patterns early to help others understand how shifts in consumer attention impact the realities of the business world today. Gary’s approach sits at the intersection of business and pop culture. He keenly understands how to bring brand relevance to the forefront. He is a prolific angel investor with early investments in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Venmo, Snapchat, Coinbase, and Uber.

This year, Gary unveiled his seventh book, “Day Trading Attention” where he provides fresh insights into navigating the modern social media landscape. Gary’s expertise guides readers on harnessing underpriced attention channels in the digital age. He emphasizes mastering storytelling in these arenas and highlights the “TikTokification of Social Media,” where content relevance surpasses follower counts. Businesses can leverage this shift to enhance their brand and boost sales. “Day Trading Attention” equips readers with essential skills to succeed in today’s dynamic digital world. Gary also announced his first children’s picture book, based on his VeeFriends characters, titled “Meet Me in the Middle”. The picture book, which will prominently feature two VeeFriends characters, Eager Eagle and Patient Pig, delves into the emotional elements essential for nurturing children’s empathy – a crucial skill for their future success.

Gary is an entrepreneur at heart – he builds businesses. Today, he helps Fortune 1000 brands leverage consumer attention through his full-service advertising agency, VaynerMedia, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Amsterdam, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. VaynerMedia is part of the VaynerX holding company, which also includes Eva Nosidam Productions, Gallery Media Group, The Sasha Group, VaynerSpeakers, VaynerCommerce, and Tingley Lane Trading. Gary is the Co-Founder of VaynerSports, VCR Group, VaynerWatt, ArtOfficial, Resy, and Empathy Wines. He guided Resy and Empathy to successful exits — which he later sold to American Express and Constellation Brands, respectively. He also owns a Major League Pickleball team called the 5s, is part owner of a Big3 basketball team, and is an investor in the revival of the SlamBall League.

Gary is also the founder and creator of VeeCon – a contemporary super conference that converges business and pop culture with innovation and technology. In addition to running multiple businesses, Gary documents his daily life as a CEO through his social media channels, which have more than 44 million followers and garner over 300 million monthly impressions/views across all platforms. His podcast, “The GaryVee Audio Experience,” ranks among the top podcasts globally.

Gary serves on the board of MikMak, Bojangles Restaurants, Global Citizen Forum, and Pencils of Promise. He is also a longtime Well Member of charity: water.

Gary’s life ambition is to buy the New York Jets.

  1. 2 things sum up this video
    1. Rapid post every day until one of the contents spike in views. Run ads on that content
    2. Over deliver on thank you gifts cuz you might get referrals

  2. guys is not about numbers of post or posting on 30.000 platform. Choose 2 platofrom where your audience is and post contents based on a strategy to beat down the beliefs of your audience. This video is simply ridiculous.

  3. Gary Vee is the most overrated guy on the internet. What’s he even saying here? A load of nothing but with lots of confidence!

  4. Omg it’s difficult! I’m doing tik tok it took me 3 years to even start. I can’t stand ppl on tik tok that have 12k or 15k or even 2.5 million n they aren’t supporting anyone I think that’s bullshit!! N what he said earlier the thank u economy is what’s going to win!! Our technology has surpassed our humanity n it’s starting to truly show! Sorry I can’t be fake n all sales I want to connect with ppl I want to help ppl!

  5. “Go find your surfboard and ride that wave”.
    Love that sentiment.
I ❤ how Gary finds a way to pivot and always stay relevant.

  6. Gary’s knowledge of marketing is actually quite shallow and is mainly limited to advertising. You won’t learn anything about budgeting, distribution strategies, or market research from this hack.

  7. This is the first time I’ve watched you talk, Gary.

I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Please, though, Gary, could you speak with the f.. words?

It makes me doubt the wisdom in you when you do it.

The expression and emphasis it delivers works on some people, but to others it suggests a hole in the staircase that hasn’t been repaired.

  8. Videos should not say ALEXA hahahah my Alexa stars replying, she said "I am not quiet sure how to help you with that" Alexa needs to get Open AI in 😅

  9. @5:50 when he said he has no emotion, I thought he was talking like a close scorpio male friend of mine, so I googled Gary to find his birthday, and it turns out he’s indeed a Scorpio… furthermore, coincidentally (and randomly) I’m watching this *today*, his birthday, November 14. Happy birthday Gary.

  10. Think I’ll keep milking Goats in living of the land before I get on tictac, stuff is for 14 year old girls hahaha.

  11. Just when I’m asking myself if I should sell my art directly, with personnalised stamping, crafting and thank you letter etc.. or through print-on-demand services… This "do the way our grandparents did" really resonates with me right now. Thanks a lot 🌻

  12. 29:47 so true and not only that. Businesses are so obsessed with getting new customers that they throw customer care and support out the door.

I recently left my long year phone operator and they didn’t even care. I really felt a bit disappointed and less sorry to leave them.

  13. I started posting on TikTok 4 years ago because of Gary Vee. I would post 3-5 times a day. Then I started growing, then I grew to 10, 30, 40k. Then I started going viral. Then I grew to 200k. Today I have 888k followers on TikTok. Gary literally changed my life. Thank you.

  14. What if you’re doing multiple businesses? Do you recommend just posting everything you do under one account? Or try to stay associated with one brand/business? Because you know how they say to build your Avatar on your profile. Like if you’re a fitness trainer, then your personal profile is all about fitness and personal stuff. But not really other businesses. What’s your take?

  15. I appreciate this talk. I loved this guy since reading Jab Jab right Hook. Now I got to go and apply what I learned. Posting daily is honestly so hard. Harder than my 9-5 job.

  16. Loved your talk! Single mom, hairstylist and makeup artist. Got tired of posting on Instagram and all the other social media platforms wasn’t seeing much of a result.😢
Gonna try the old school method to see if it works !🤞🏼🤞🏼

  17. Just ordered The Thank You Economy on Audible and am listening now. Read in 2015 and OMG it is the EXACT thing I need to re-listen to THIS WEEK! Thank you G

  18. I have been doing the posting for small business for about a month and was already doing some of things mentioned in the video like new videos and images daily, and yes it started with small view counts but after a month the views keep going up little by little each week. And implementing more of what is suggested is going to help grow the business. We just had one major jump going from 300 views a day to 500 views a day. Great information worth the watch if you want to grow your business and social media presence.

  19. I don’t get it. I never understood when the generation after me became obsessed with blogging, which after a few years turned into YouTube vlogging. Then, everyone jumped over to Facebook. I did not get it. Then, everyone was crazy about Instagram and becoming an "influencer" with crowds of followers buying their crappy products and enjoying fishy-lips pouty-face selfies. I still don’t get it. TIK Tok, huh? Twitter, er, I mean X… no thank you. All I see is a reward system for self-obsessed narcissists.

  20. im 38 years old and in 9 days i will be 4 years sober from 16 years of extreme addiction. I’ve been a singer/songwriter releasing music since 2006 and now in recovery releasing my best music yet. but, no ones listening. I released a funding campaign to pay studio bills a month ago with a goal of 1000 dollars. i received one donation of 25 dollars.

it will go towards the bill. ill figure it out and I will never ever give up. thanks Gary
